The third production unit of ARAGON GONZALEZ called AG-TECNO 3.
This new ceramics factory has the capacity to produce a variety of
different bricks and breeze blocks common on the Spanish market.
In 2001, ARAGON GONZALEZ decided to build a factory for large-scale
production with the flexibility required to produce different types of ceramic
building materials used on the market: perforated foundation blocks,
large format, two and three cells deep, thermoclay and ceramic breeze
blocks, for large-scale production, using state-of-the-art technologies.
LEIRIMETAL is chosen to supply materials for building AG-TECNO 3, to
produce 620 ton/day of fired-bricks in 5.5 working days or 11 shifts/week
(8-hour shifts). The kiln and dryer are prepared for 1/3 extra production
initially established in the contract.
The technology line implemented is finally determined after several
discussions in meetings between technicians from LEIRIMETAL and
ARAGON GONZALLEZ, accompanied by an assistant technician. All
details were taken into account as well as the vast experience AG-TECNO 3
obtained in the manufacturing business over the years, benefitting from
the company’s real knowledge of how to use local clays with very specific
characteristics. After an in-depth study was successfully performed, this
factory started operating in the summer of 2004 and very soon achieved
the contracted production rate.
One of the largest factories in SPAIN where high production rates are
achieved with a single line of equipment, resulting in high savings in terms
of manual labour.
